In this episode of In the Kitchen with Father Fud, we take you behind the scenes at Fudpucker’s to show you how we make the legendary Alligator Gumbo that we serve in our restaurants.

Our Alligator Gumbo is made fresh in-house using fresh alligator meat, shrimp, and fish as well as vegetables such as green peppers, celery, onion, and okra. We make our gumbo with a traditional roux made from peanut oil and flour. Sassafras filet, or gumbo filet, is used to thicken the crab base and helps it to form a nice, rich sauce. Come out to Fudpucker’s Beachside Bar & Grill and try our delicious, homemade Alligator Gumbo!
